Despite some last gasp injury worries, and a call-off which had me touching cloth for a minute, we have the final teams to announce for tomorrows game, which I'm sure we're all looking forward to, immensley.
And yes, we DO have a game on tomorrow - park 7, where it's time gentlemen, time for Rangers to re-dress the balance, and give the Sellick baw-bags a jolly good kicking after 2 previous lucky escapes; May last year, Rangers clearly moral victors despite a 2 goal deficit after a bone-crunching 59 minutes which saw the writer try to "do" Doya in spectacular style, and Harry got hit in the knackers too; and November last when Rangers looked to be heading for an oh-so-simple victory, only for it to be cruelly snatched away with literally seconds to go. 1,800 seconds, to be exact. Pah, work it out for yourselves.......
Anyway, Iain H has "volunteered" to be the closet Tim, and will be selected for some...ahem...special treatment. That's right mate, we're getting Lee to mark you - ho ho - see you on the treatment table, mate.
Rangers shining beacon of late - McGuchan - has had to pull out, which has caused much distress in the Gers camp, and after creative midfielder-prod Plews refused to play, it's down now to a dark horse of unknown quantity, but has seen it all in a top level career which has spanned the length and breadth of Springburn.
My sidekick on the working-stage, Graeme, who talks a good game, has agreed to step into the gap, and despite some indifferent performances of late, has assured me he will be the key to a good result. Who for, we just don't know....
Despite lacking in athleticism, fitness, agility, and ability, I can only see this game going one way - and looking at the dross and sh*te for the other side, it's going to be Rangers by 3.
You heard it here first, people, and if the result doesn't go our way, look out for me "moving upstairs" in a sensational move, to be replaced by a younger and slightly better looking talent...
Good luck, and I mean that. I really, really do.
Martin o' Pwick
Rangers - Chris, Neil, Leon, Richard, Graeme
Celtic - Andy, Sean, Iain H, Iain C, Harry
Note: Needless to say the Rankgers were roundly stuffed - again!
