various, including "Cannonball Clare" and the very original "Scouser".
PITZ DEBUT:
1997.
HAIRSTYLE:
a velcro-heid before it became fashionable for the rest, note McQuillan, Connelly, Conaghan, et al - a real visionary.
PLAYING STYLE:
Talked a brilliant game, in that soft scouse droll, saw them all play, Dalglish, Hansen, Souness, but as Doya once said,
"He played p*ss-poor in his first game, and I thought it was a one off, he's sizing us up, but then he played even worse in the second game,
and I realised, wait a minute, he IS sh*te!" Ran his socks off for most of the game and got himself into countless shooting positions, only to
fling his right boot at the ball...and....nothing! Ball dribbles at 2mph (wind assisted), keeper has time to light a fag, stub it out, and collect
ball. As our pal James McShane once dryly observed, "well, he hit the target, and you can't ask for more than that!"
KIT:
Cream-coloured Liverpool away top.
FINAL PITZ APPEARANCE:
Guest appearance in summer of 1999, when he showed us what we were missing - nothing at all.
WHERE IS HE NOW:
Last known whereabouts Manchester RSA office, decorating his new place in Liverpool.
